Jeb Bush on Women's rights: Abortion

Jeb Bush has taken a very right wing stand on women's rights, as well as stem cell research. Among young people, and women voters his stance seems harsh, and is very unpopular. As another example shown in the article of Jeb's stance on peoples rights over their bodies is that of a brain dead woman in Tampa Bay, Florida. The supposed fight lasted ten years, and the husband did not appreciate having to battle to pull the plug on his wife

  1. Why would we support voodoo magic science stuff? How could we let a person do with their own bodies what they seemed fit? Is the average American adult smart enough to make the decisions regarding their health, safety and comfort? Only if they are Republican church attendees, you know, the ones he is trying to get the votes from.

  3. I literally cannot comprehend the "pro-life" stance on stem cell research. They only use embryos from umbilical cords or from in-vitro/legal abortions, which would otherwise go to waste anyway. Do these people really want to deprive chronic disease sufferers of one of their most likely chances of a cure? Jeb's actions regarding the Tampa Bay woman are even worse. When someone's quality of life gets that miserable and I irreparable, it's cruel to keep her on life support while pretending to be the righteous one.

  4. I believe that everyone has their own opinion on whether or not they are pro-life or anything related to women's rights. Nobody (including candidates) should be involved in this sort of decision making, it is for the women in that situation to make her mind up for it is her body.

  6. I think that the government should make a law stating that abortion is not allowed. People these days don't understand that's a human life right their. Getting an abortion is murdering, government officials should put a stop to abortion. If you don't want the child give it up for adoption to people who actually want kids.

  7. I am pro life, and I don't mind stem cell research as long as it in no way shape or form hurts the baby.

  8. I am pro-choice in my opinion, if people have the option of getting abortion then they have the choice of doing so. If they make a mistake and have the money and willing to pay for it then they should do it. Isn't life suppose to be based on their own happiness and decision.

  9. I believe that candidates should not be the ones involved in the decision of abortion. Each and every woman has their own opinion on abortion and can choose to do whatsoever they choose because it is their body.

  10. Jeb's stance will surely be in direct conflict with the majority of female voters as well as young voters. If he wants to win the general election, Jeb Bush will have to show America that he can work with people of many different political views, so that he can practice the art of compromising when controversial issues arise at the Federal Government level.

  11. I think that saying this is definitely not going to help him at all. In this period in time people really care about women's rights. It's a huge thing, lots are fighting for these rights. Him dismissing this aspect with such easy air will cost him some serious votes.

  12. I believe stem cell research is okay if it doesn't hurt the baby. And Im pretty sure it wont because they only use embryos from umbilical cords or from in-vitro/legal abortions, which gets thrown away anyway.
