Jeb and Trump, Necessary Opposites
While the campaign trail continues it seems that Jeb and Trump have positioned themselves as mortal enemies. But, even though they seem to be at opposite ends bashing each other seems to be helping their campaigns.
The largest factor I notice separating Bush from Trump is political experience. Bush has served as the governor of Florida, a state with a relatively large population of very diverse people, while Trump is a billionaire who's never held political office. While Trump may lead the polls currently, I hope American voters realize in 2016 that electing a president, Republican or Democrat, with a patient, even-keeled temper serves the best interest of the country as a whole. Henceforth, I'm predicting that Trump's popularity will diminish in the polls the closer we approach the new calendar year.
I honestly don't think its good that their enemies, better have peace with everyone, especially if your in a campaign. Having enemies causes more people to gossip.
I agree and think that it makes a lot of sense that both of their campaigns would be boosting eachother's campaigns, as their little conflicts are things the media loves to eat up. As the media continues to eat this up and report it to everyone, more are informed on each of the canidates and their conflicts. This would raise their publicity, ultimately leading people to want to find out more about the presidents, whether it be of honest curiosity or for the sake of laughs.
I believe that they are bashing each other, but at the same time I believe they may have their political differences and knowledges, but also I think they are mostly doing this for attention and media/publicity: which is in some ways both helping their campaign during this election.

ReplyDeleteIt's interesting how bashing out at each other seems to be helping their campaigns. What exactly are they disagreeing on?

ReplyDeleteI do not necessarily think bashing each other would help their campaign but if it is and the media seems to enjoy it, why would you stop.
